Clearpool offers youth and families a host of fun and educational experiences focused on environmental exploration and sustainability. Take advantage of year-round opportunities to connect with nature while creating memories in the great outdoors. Explore our Weekend Nature Series and Vacation Camps.
The Clearpool trail system consists of more than five miles of marked trails, open to the public Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Some trails meander along the lake, others climb to the top of the hills with views of the surrounding watersheds. During a walk, one might hear red-winged blackbirds, pileated woodpeckers or chickadees. Trees, shrubs, mosses, rock formations, deer, and more await the quiet explorer.
For any questions or concerns, contact AJ at ajohnson@greenchimneys.org.
Sampson is a mixed-breed sheep that came to Green Chimneys when he was just a few weeks old. He was bottle-raised by the children and, as a result of their love and care, has become one of the most trusting and gentle sheep at the barnyard. Each spring, Sampson is sheared to keep him comfortable through the hot summer months, and the children sell yarn made from his wool at the Green Chimneys Country Store.
