Nature’s Nursery has provided early education and school-age programs to community families for over 30 years. A sound curriculum, dynamic nature settings and caring staff create an engaging educational experience to support the most important years in a child’s growth and development.
The goal of Nature’s Nursery programs is to develop confident, motivated lifelong learners with strong academic skills, inquisitive attitudes, keen social intelligence, and critical, creative thinking abilities. A quality learning process encourages children in hands-on discovery and interaction with nature and animals at our farm and unique outdoor spaces. We celebrate each child’s strengths, respecting their individual needs and allowing them to explore in an accepting, nurturing environment.
Nature’s Nursery closely follows guidelines from state agencies and local health authorities to provide a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.

Donkeys are amazing animals that provide important lessons for our students. Gracie and Reba, who have lived here since 1996, are loyal friends — to each other, and to our students. This pair dislikes being separated, and if they lose sight of each other, they’ll call out until someone brings them back together again. Gracie and Reba are shy, and only respond to humans who show them kindness and patience.
